Guests who would like to arrange accommodations for their visit should contact us at info@ehfop.org prior to the day of their visit. Groups should discuss accommodations with the Group Tours contact when scheduling their visit via your group request

Wheelchair Access

Hemingway Birthplace Museum

• The Birthplace Museum and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

• A outdoor porch lift can accommodate wheelchairs to gain entrance to front door entry.

• An interior elevator is available for access to each level of the birthplace museum.

In Ernie’s Footsteps: A Walking Tour of Young Hemingway’s Oak Park

• The Young Hemingway Neighborhood Walking Tour is 100% accessible to guests who use wheelchairs but please be aware that tour route is approximately 2 miles, so most guests may need assistance.
