Tours of the Birthplace Home reflect upon the influence and impact that the family and Oak Park community had on the early life of the Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning author. The guided tour by of the birthplace home by our knowledgable docents takes approximately 45 minutes. Hemingway was born in the home on July 21, 1899 and lived there with his family until he was six years old.
